Risk Management

Hazard Identification, Assessment and Hazard Control include four critical components. These include: Formal Hazard Assessments (This is the highest level of assessment. They are conducted for all positions within an organization), Site-Specific Hazard Assessments (Conducted before the start of work activities), Hazard Identification or Hazard IDs (these are recorded by crew members as observed during work activities), and management of change or deviation assessments (whenever site activities, processes, equipment, etc., change it is essential to evaluate and communicate hazards associated with the change).
